Our day passes allow you to explore every area of the park from the caves to gullies and follies!

Day passes are our general admission ticket and are valid for standard park entry between the stated opening days and times of 10am to 5pm with last admission at 3pm. For special seasonal events additional charges may apply.

Before purchasing be sure to check our open dates and times , choose your number of tickets and ticket types and check out! Be sure to bring your ticket with you on your smart phone or printed so we are able to scan it in the Visitor Centre. 

Then simply turn up on the day and be ready for an amazing day of adventure!

On all selected open days the gates to the carpark will open at 10am and close at 5pm. Last admission to the park is at 3pm. 

Please note on bank holidays we open at the earlier time of 9am but last admission remains at 3pm and the gates close at 5pm.

Seasonal events and pre-booked Follies safaris may have different opening times - please check specific event information.

Food, Drink & Facilities

The Glass House Grab N Go is located at the visitor center and serves a range of hot and cold drinks as well as light lunch, snacks and bakes all of which can be enjoyed inside or be taken on the go!

Alternatively you are more than welcome to bring your own picnic with you, we have picnic benches located in many areas of the park. We ask that if you bring your own picnic that all rubbish is placed in the bins provided in order to keep nature preserved and the wildlife in the park safe.

Accessibility, Terrain & What to Expect

Due to the natural uneven and hilly terrain, The Follies is not suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs. Sensible shoes must be worn at all times in the park.

The Follies has a variety of areas with stone steps however our team are able to advise less strenuous routes for those who are wary of steep or large volumes of steps. The Grand Valley is accessible by pushchair and wheelchair due to there being no steps from the visitor center to the valley but neither would be able to go further than this point.

Wonderful Experience

We had the most magical experience visiting Santa in his magical grotto. My boys aged 7 and 2 both loved every moment of their time here. I will definitely recommend it to people in the future and we hope to return again!

The Safari experience was beyond brilliant. So different and something for both young and older children. The staff are all very friendly and everything was well organised. We will definitely be back!

Extra Special wedding day

We had our wedding inside the caves at the Follies. All our guests loved the cave and enjoyed the beautiful views. They were speechless to say the least!

An excellent adventure 

We had a fabulous time on our hike around the Follies! It was such fun and so interesting. The views were amazing and we really felt like we were on a grand adventure! The hike is very well signposted and the toilet facilities are very clean. It took us 2 hours to complete the hike, including going all the way up to the top of the tower.

We had an absolutely brilliant day here. My sister and I took our 7 and 11 year olds. There were surprises around every twist and turn. We loved all of the climbing, the dark tunnels, the trees, the amazing rock formations and the views... the list goes on! It is a beautiful place.
