We are delighted to offer Discovery Tours at Hawkstone Park Follies, providing a unique opportunity to explore the history of this remarkable landscape with one of our experienced guides.
On arrival, you will be warmly welcomed at the Visitor Centre and offered a complimentary hot or cold drink. Your guide will begin by introducing the history of the Follies in the History Room before accompanying you on a guided tour of the grounds. Each guest will also receive a Follies guidebook to take away.
What the Tour Includes
The Discovery Tour visits some of our most iconic landmarks, including The White Tower, The Monument, Swiss Bridge, The Hermitage and the caves at Grotto Hill.
For an additional £15 per person, guests may choose to include a visit to the 12th-century Red Castle ruins, which is not open to the general public and only available to visit on guided walks. This is a rare example of a rock-cut medieval castle. Please note that due to the terrain, this part of the tour may not be suitable for young children or guests with limited mobility.
The tour is tailored to the group on the day and combines walking with Land Rover transport. Guests are welcome to walk as much or as little as they feel comfortable. The Land Rover is available for those who prefer assisted transport or require additional support.
Booking Information
Discovery Tours are available at the cost of standard Park admission (£11.50 per person), plus a £150.00 fee for the guide and Land Rover. Tours can accommodate a maximum group size of eight guests. All tours are subject to availability and must be booked in advance by contacting us. Please note that tours are not available on Bank Holiday weekends.
